About Van Gogh
Born in the Netherlands in 1853, Vincent Van Gogh grew up initially dealing art. His exposure to the art world began to impress upon him but he did not like the act of art dealing. He later found himself studying to become a theologian, but came into conflict when he disputed the orthodox doctorinal approach that the church had prescribed. After his fallout, he found himself painting lavish scenes of flowers and cafes. His style was seen as controversal and unfortunately found him cast out of the art world. But his art lives on after his death as a testiment to his desire to serve humanity.
